Yesterday I was running Edinboro University’s table at the Eerie Horror Fest (held this year at the ornate Warner Theater).  Since Edinboro was a major sponsor of the event this year we got a table to pass out information about the school and the cinema department.  As president of film club this was one of my jobs.

The thing was kind of a bust though.  No one came by looking for information.  I’d have much rather gone as just a viewer and watched some films, but what can you do?

The highlights of the day though . . .

I saw Sid Haig.  That was cool.

Ran into some old Edinboro film cohorts (Wooliscroft – aka Wooly, Elaine, Monster Mark, Ian Wallace) and a girl I knew in high school.

Bought some DVD’s from one of the vendors there.  Picked up George Romero’s Dawn of the Dead, The Brain That Wouldn’t Die, Zatoichi Meets the One-Armed Swordsman, Zatoichi: The Festival of Fire, and Zatoichi in Desperation.
