No, I’ve just been pretty busy. I’ve been settling back into the routine that is Pennsylvania and work after the Milwaukee experience. Now I’m back in full swing, so I should be able to post here more than I have in the past few weeks.

I’ve been hard at work on my comic . . . which has a brand new title! Infinite Midnight!

Christian has been hard at work on the casting for Sweetmint. I’m sure you’ll hear more about that from the both of us soon.

Now, some links:

They may not want us to call it a flying car, but it’s a car that flies.

The big breakout hit from TED (the Technology, Engineering, Design Conference) which is being heralded as an electronic sixth sense. In some ways kind of creepy. It would be weird to have someone look at me and wonder what they’re reading on my floating word cloud of tags.

And finally, the night Battlestar Galactica took over the UN. The UN held a quorum with dignitaries as well as Edward James Olmos, Mary McDonnel, showrunner Ronald D. Moore, and producer David Eick to talk about modern problems as viewed through the lens of Galactica. Issues such as human rights violations and reconcilation between groups of wildly differing ideologies were explored. Has ANY TV show ever created an event like this?

In the most recent column I pontificate about the ending and beginning of Battlestar Galactica.

So apparently the SciFi Network will be changing it’s name in June in an attempt to distance itself from geek associations.

SyFy! SyFy! SyFy!

Does this strike anyone else as an incredibly stupid name and move? Why go out of your way to alienate your core audience?

Oh, I bet it’s so they can play more wrestling in prime time.

This film has been going crazy, and I’m still immensely proud of my small contribution to it.

From Brad:

“24 Frames” has been received the “Grand Jury Award” for “Best Narrative Short” from the Red Rock Film Festival in Utah. This is the seventh festival award for the film.

Also, watch for “24 Frames” to be available on the “Animation Block Party” DVD compilation! More details on that later.
As always, thank you for your support.”

I do! I do!

Is it a complete translation? No. Some things were cut, and some were changed, but all of the changes are ones I understand as being necessary for the translation from one medium to another.

A fantastic film. I’m pretty sure that Zach Snyder can write his own ticket now.
